1) Use your favorite computer program to lay out your printed content on the 8 ½ x 11" pages, according to the following sizes:
- Cover layout: 3 (height) x 8 (width) inches, leaving a space for Japanese band and ribbon design
- Inside panels: 3 (height) x 8 (width) inches
(Refer to the sample print template provided in your package for an example.) Remember that sample layouts, wording, and monogram designs are available in the Bride's Guides section of our site.
2) Print and cut the printed parts of your program on the 8 ½ x 11 "Printable Paper" sheets provided in the kit.
3) Take the Japanese paper provided in the kit and place in the middle of the printed cover piece it is centered vertically. Using the hot glue gun, glue the ends of the Japanese paper band on the back side of the cover of the program.
3) Cut lengths of ribbon from the 3/8 inch roll of ribbon about 11 inches in length. These strips will be used for ribbon knot seen on the front of the program. Note that the ribbon has a shiny side and a dull side -- the shiny side should face outward!
4) Take the ribbon and tie a knot around the printed cover layout on top in the middle of the Japanese paper band glued. Pull the knot so it is on the right hand side of the program cover.
5) Glue this piece to the front of the program folder provided in the kit so it centered vertically and horizontally.
6) Take the two printed inside panels and glue on the inside of the folder, centering each panel vertically and horizontally on the left and right side.
