1) Use your favorite computer program to lay out your printed content on the 8 ½ x 11" pages, according to the following sizes:
- Cover layout: 7 ½ (height) x 4 ½ (width) inches, leaving a 3 inch space in the middle for Japanese paper and ribbon design
- Inside panels: 8 (height) x 5 (width) inches
(Refer to the sample print template provided in your package for an example.) Remember that sample layouts, wording, and monogram designs are available in the Bride's Guides section of our site.
2) Print and cut the printed parts of your invitations on the 8 ½ x 11 "Printable Paper" sheets provided in the kit.
3) Take the Japanese Paper provided in the kit and place it in the space you have left fort the Japanese band, on the cover layout you have printed. Using a hot glue gun, glue the ends of the Japanese paper to the back side of the cover layout.
3) Cut lengths of ribbon from the 3/8 inch roll of ribbon about 6 inches in length. These strips will be used for ribbons seen on the front of the program. Note that the ribbon has a shiny side and a dull side -- the shiny side should face outward!
4) Take the ribbon and place it on top of the Japanese paper band on the cover layout so it is centered vertically on top in the middle of the band. Glue the ends of the ribbons on the back side of the cover layout.
5) Take another piece of the ribbon and place it just below the first ribbon glued, overlapping the first ribbon slightly. Glue the ends of the ribbon to the back side of the cover layout.
5) Glue the cover layout to the cover backing provided in the kit so it is centered vertically and horizontally on the backing.
6) Glue this piece to the cover of the program folder so it is also centered vertically and horizontally.
7) Take the printed inside panel and glue on the right side of the inside of the program folder.
