Instructions on this Product |
 |
1) Use your favorite computer program to lay out your printed content on two 8 ½ x 11" pages, according to the following sizes:
- Monogram for cover: 2 (height) x 3 ½ (width) inches
- Invitation main layout: 4 ¾ x 4 ¾ inches
- Response card: 3 ¼ (height) x 4 ¼ (width) inches
(Refer to the sample print template provided in your package for an example.) Remember that sample layouts, wording, and monogram designs are available in the Bride's Guides section of our site.
2) Print and cut the printed parts of your invitations on the 8 ½ x 11 "Printable Paper" sheets provided in the kit.
3) Take the Main Layout you have printed and on the inside of the pocketfolder, glue this piece on the assembled panel with horizontal ribbon stripe leaving a 1/8 border all around.
4) Glue the Response card you have printed to the Response Card Backing provided and insert with rsvp envelope into ribbon corner panel provided.
5) Take the Japanese paper provided in the kit and glue it on the front of the closed invitation so it is centered vertically and horizontally on the front of the invitation.
6) Cut a length of ribbon from the 3/8 inch roll of ribbon about 5 inches in length. These strips will be used for the ribbon stripe seen on the backing glued behind the rectangular printed piece on the front.
7) Using a hot glue gun, wrap the ribbon around the front piece backing provided in the kit and glue the ends of the ribbon down so the ribbon is centered horizontally on the piece. Do not worry if the ends are not that clean as it will be covered by the printed piece. Note that the ribbon has a shiny side and a dull side -- the shiny side should face outward!
8) Glue the front printed piece on the Front Piece Backing with the ribbon stripe covering the ends of the ribbons.
9) Glue this piece so it is centered horizontally and vertically on the front of the invitation.
