Other tools you might need |

There are several tools that will help in ensuring that you assemble a professional looking invitation:
A small arts and crafts glue gun that will allow you to produce fairly precise dabs of glue.
A straight-edge or ruler should be used to measure and keep all of the assembled parts straight and even.
A paper cutter that will allow you to cut multiple sheets of paper at a time, or alternatively, a blade that will allow you to cut accurate, straight lines.
A sharp pair of scissors should be used to trim ribbon so that frayed edges aren't created.
If you are printing the contents of your invitiation yourself, you will need a laser or inkjet printer and a piece of software that will allow you to print the types of layouts you desire.

Printing your own invitations |

When you receive your full kit, you will have two "Printable Papers" per invitation that you order (unless, of course, the specific design you've ordered requires more). These papers are 80# cardstock (in cream or white) in 8.5 x 11" in size, suitable for running through a standard inkjet or laser printer. The reason why we don't send Printable Papers in smaller (pre-cut) sizes is that they become difficult to feed into your printer, often yielding inconsistent results.
You can use any document layout/printing program, such as Microsoft Word (easy) or Adobe Illustrator (advanced), to lay out your Monogram Square, Invitation Wording, Response Card, and Directions Card (if necessary) on two sheets of paper, according to the sizes mentioned in the instructions provided with your card style. Printing borders for each will help you when you're cutting them out later.

You should test print your layouts using regular paper, making sure that all of the sizes, fonts, and colors come out exactly as you want them to. When you're happy with the result, you can go ahead and start printing on the cardstock provided.
For cutting, we highly suggest using a paper cutter, as it will speed up the process tremendously. Using a straight-edge with a blade will also work, although it's not quite as efficient. Using scissors is not recommended unless you are deliberately going for that homemade, crafty look.

How long will it take to pack and ship my order? |

We are typically able to assemble, pack and ship our orders out within 10-12 business days. Once we have it sent out, we will provide you with a tracking number which you can use to monitor the progress of your delivery.
Shipping can take 3-5 business days, depending on your location. Please note that our shipments DO NOT require a signature at point of delivery, as this has been problematic for our customers in the past. If you would like signature verification to be added to your delivery, please specify this in the "Special Shipping Instructions" portion of your order.

Can I pick up my invitations locally? |
|

We can certainly arrange for local pickup from our warehouse in Markham, Ontario.
When placing your order on our website, during the checkout process one of the pages will be called "Shipping Options". On this page, select "Special Rush Order" which attaches a $0 charge to shipping. On the same page, there is a field for detailed instructions -- please enter "Will pick up order" in this field so we know not to ship it out.
